Cashium Update: Big Delays!

Just as Cashium was about to launch properly, a delay has occurred. The coder is currently on hiatus and work on the site has stopped. The site should be up and running soon though! Here's my latest details:

ClixOS in trouble!

Through no fault of their own, ClixOS has had to temporarily shut down due to huge bugs in their script. The 'GeN4' script created by PTCPay was implemented into the ClixOS site and has caused numerous problems since. When I joined ClixOS I was able to click ads for a day before they disappeared completely.

The website has submitted a migration notice to all visitors of the site, and it can be found on their homepage. Lets hope everything gets cleared up soon!

gagaBUX: A new PTC with a LOT to offer

GagaBUX isn't even 2 months old however it is making a huge name for itself in the PTC world. Within that time it has managed to rack up 150000 members! And what makes this PTC site so popular? The ads that are available.

I only joined a day ago, but look at those advertisements available. THERE WAS AN INCREDIBLE 18 ADS TO CLICK AT $0.01 EACH! Most sites require that you gain a lot of referrals to make money, but you can also feel quite comfortable going solo with this site. I have one gripe though, and that is regarding the site's stability. Whether it will last in the long run is uncertain.

Recently I was curious as to whether you could make money simply by Google searching. Here is the original article. I've been a member of Swagbucks for quite some time, a search engine that rewards you and receives results from Google. I tried to cashout recently, and after 2 weeks my payment finally came!

You can only request 2 prizes a day, and I sorta forgot to cash out all the other money I had earned after requesting two $5 paypal payments. But they're on their way! It's unbelievable to think that you can get paid for something you do every day without a second thought. Why more people aren't doing this I don't know. How to make Traffic Exchanges less painful to surf

What are Traffic Exchanges you say? Well they are services in which you view websites, and in return receive views on yours. Some Traffic Exchanges pay you to surf or refer others, but we will touch upon this another time.

Traffic Exchanges are SO boring to surf. You have to sit and click buttons consistently to go through sites, and it has to be the most mundane thing I have ever done regarding internet money making. Here are some tips to make you not want to jump off a bridge whilst using Traffic Exchanges.

Musical tunes
Put on some of your favourite tunes whilst surfing, and concentrate more on the music and less on the repetitive task you are currently doing. Clicking will seem second nature after a while and you can yell badly to your favourite Beyonce song to fight the boredom. However to do this successfully you will have to...

Mute your web browser
A lot of pages you view during your time at Traffic Exchanges wish to punish you. Automatic video playing, MIDI music, squeaky-voiced-green-screened representative talking to you... these pages contribute to the most annoying use of sound I've ever heard coming out of my browser. And if you are surfing multiple exchanges at once and several pages simultaneously emit speech and generic free music tracks, it's a wall of sound that makes you wish to cut off your ears. Mute your browser. At all times.

Surf multiple exchanges at once!
Depending on your internet speed, I recommend surfing 5-6 exchanges at once on a tab enabled browser. This way you can switch between exchanges and click on the next pages to view in a fluid way that will keep you on your toes. You will rack up credits on these exchanges and it is an awful lot better than sitting down and waiting for the counter. By the time you have clicked on the 6th exchange, the 1st one should be ready to click again. Tactical surfing!

Use a "fun" Traffic Exchange
The most entertaining exchange I have encountered by far is Deep Space Traffic. It has been designed to stand out among all of the other mundane exchanges by offering fun things to do as you surf. There is a little mini-game to play based upon space exploration, where you must discover hidden resources. It boasts another game called Omega Scout where you build fleets of spaceships to attack other players. As you surf you can collect Stars and Power Cells which help you win prizes. There are fun facts about space, a lottery and special drawings!

It is by far the most exciting exchange I have used, and I am not actually annoyed to surf using it!

How much my faith is in Cashium

I have a lot of hope for Cashium. To me it just seems like it will be huge. Within two days I have picked up 18 referrals, and have deposited $20 to purchase an upgrade / referrals when the site launches. As I signed up before the launch, I got 10% added to my funds when I deposited, so I was given an extra $2! Here are my statistics so far.

Brand new PTC Cashium rises to give hope to the PTC world

Let's face it, the PTC world hasn't been great as of late. More and more Pay-To-Click sites are popping up and yet they are offering less and less. Sites are shutting down quickly, advertisers feel less inclined to give you the ads to click and you're left with a sour taste in your mouth.

However I came across a PTC site yesterday called Cashium, and it promises to change everything. When I came across this site, I said to myself:

"Man, this is different. This is new. This is going to be big."

Cashium is currently still in beta, and they are giving bonuses for everyone who signs up before the site officially launches. The site is made entirely from scratch despite the fact you can buy a PTC script for as little as $25 nowadays. Its entire point is to be very stable, and therefore around for a very long time. Never have I been more excited about a PTC site.

Accessing your 'Get Paid To' accounts abroad

If you are travelling to another country, be wary of the rules regarding travel on each GPT site you may access. Certain GPT sites may ban you whereas others may be a lot more leniant.

The darker side of GPT offers: What they don't tell you

When people write blogs regarding making money online, they never point out the negatives. I like to do things a little differently. Sometimes GPT offers are a pain in the ass due to a number of factors, and I'm going to list these and tell you what you can do to fight the darker parts of the GPT world.

Excuse me while I unleash Pop-Ups everywhere
You start filling in your information, click next and them WHAM! 5 Pop-Ups appear from nowhere advertising something you really don't care about. The best thing to do is to close them in quick succession, as Pop-Up blockers don't do much nowadays.

No...no...no, no, no, no no no no NO NO NO!
You come to a page where you have to click any other offers you are interested in, and naturally you wish to click 'no' to them all. I do as I've seen all these offers before and have done most of them to get money on GPT sites. It's time consuming to click them each individually, so the best solution is to get RoboForm. You click 'no' to one offer and on RoboForm you select Fields --> Set Fields. Then all of them are filled in for you! It saves you a lot of time and effort.

You can't use RoboForm
RoboForm automatically fills your details into a site with one click, and can select all those pesky offers as 'no' instantly. However some GPT sites ban its use, and if you are known to have used RoboForm in completing an offer then your accounts can be deleted. I never understood this rule, as long as RoboForm is putting in your REAL information then why should it matter? The only way around this asinine rule is to fill everything in manually, which is irritating to say the least.

You took all this time to get to the end of the offer? I think I'll just break on you
My word is this an annoying one. You've spent the best part of 10 minutes completing an offer, only for the final page to be broken by a bad link or downtime. This has happened to me on more than one occasion and there isn't too much you can do. The best things to do are refresh the page a lot just in case it may magically appear, or report the offer on whatever GPT site you were linked from.

ian.smileymedia.GO AWAY
Almost all offers you do in which you enter competitions will direct you to this horrible website known as ian.smileymedia.com. Here you are given a whole bundle of terrible pages asking you to input personal information such as mobile phone numbers and addresses, some of which is automatically inputted already as an incentive. Most of these pages are shady and you just want to get through them as quickly as possible. They are displayed in the most visually unappealing way and the only way to get past them is to click 'skip' or 'pass' on each page. The worst thing is that that particular button KEEPS MOVING LOCATION so you have to relocate to where it is on every page. The only thing you can really do is brave this accursed site and keep skipping anything and everything until you are through. I'm coming after you Ian.

Wait, don't go! A fake person wants to speak to you!
Sometimes you have to view certain ads to get your offers to approve. You view an ad and are just about to click it when a window pops up urging you not to leave the site. Another window appears with a chat box and an image of a smiling person wearing a headset, having you believe a staff member of the site is about to talk to you. This is almost always a lie and an infuriating technique used so viewers won't leave their site in a hurry. ALL I WANT TO DO IS GET OUT OF THERE. To leave the nightmare be prepared to click 2 or 3 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons. Sometimes they're crafty and flip what the buttons actually do so you could find youself on the site AGAIN.

Unwanted Phone Calls
Most of the time you insert your details and everything is fine without any sign of a hitch. You may fill in one offer and a few days later you receive a phone call in which an asian man who knows your name is telling you about some product you don't give a damn about. This very rarely happens trust me, but if it does just tell them not to call again and put the phone down.

Confirming registration emails when the site never mentions it
A few days ago I completed an offer where I had to enter a competition. At the end of the offer the site congratulates me on entering. I believe the offer is done and so submit it, however I'm rather mistaken. Even if the site mentions no such thing, always check your emails after completing an offer in case there is a final registration email you need to look at. Your offers will not approve unless you complete registration.

You must click 'Yes' to at least one offer to continue
On the pages in which you want to click 'No' to all the offers, some sites MAKE YOU click 'Yes' to one in order to continue with the original offer. I think this is a stupid baiting trick and it gets me every time. To avoid large consequences click 'Yes' to an offer where you know you will only receive one email and not a torrent of phonecalls.

The money well is running dry
I remember back in the old days of SWATcash when entering a prize draw would reward you with $1. Today I saw a different prize draw from the same site in which the reward was $0.06. You can still make a good deal of money with GPT, however not as much as a few years ago.

Don't get me wrong, GPT sites are a great way of making money. Sometimes they can just be a little... tricky. With experience you can breeze through offers with no hesitation!

Being paid for something you do everyday without even thinking sounds like an amazing prospect. Swagbucks has just celebrated its two year anniversary and to show for it has had a complete overhaul. Swagbucks rewards you randomly with 'Swagbucks' when you use its search engine, which gives results from Google and Ask. When you collect enough Swagbucks then you can trade them in for anything you want! Electronics, vouchers, school equipment, books, CDs and more!

So why am I mentioning this site today? Well after accumulating a whopping 54 referrals and hoarding my Swagbucks for a while I am FINALLY trying to receive cash!

Not bad right? Over $50 from a single site in a few months! But I've been inactive in the GPT world for months until now, so how did I earn this? This money was earned entirely by referrals. I have an upgraded membership with DCOS which I believe cost $10, and with that upgrade I get random referrals at times! By having my own referrals and receiving more at random I've been able to make $50 by doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Brilliant!

Much needed update: How are the sites?

The 'Get Paid To' world moves very quickly. Within the months I have been inactive certain sites have been through certain changes. With this update I'm going to mention which of the sites I've previously mentioned are still going strong!

DollarClickOrSignup is still fantastic and is still my favourite GPT site! PTC's have become a little worse and there's a lot of pointless things on the site now but it will always hold a place in my heart.

TreasureTrooper is a great site for making money through offers, surveys, contests, shopping and now clicks! The clicks appear to be US only however. Treasure Trooper has become useless to me lately as the UK offers available are rarely ever updated, and even then the offers won't even work! The daily surveys are a godsend though and are a good way of making money. I just can't play any games or make any progress in the treasure map quests as you can ONLY get gold coins through offers. This site is still amazing for those in the US!

Oh SwagBucks, it just seems as though you can do no wrong. You get paid for Google searching. I don't think I need to mention anything else. That's just how amazing this site is. As of this very day SwagBucks 3.0 is live, and it seems even better than ever.

bux.to. Oh dear. An example of a site that has become so popular that it's gone into the ground. A minimum of $50 before you can cash out. A clearance of every single penny from a lot of accounts recently. For the little guy, don't even bother. For those who want to put a bit of money towards referrals and results, this site is for you.

Lockerz is a new site with a fantastic idea. All that you do is answer a single question every day, and you win points. It's so ridiculously simple, even a baby could do it!

How to get offers approved easily - More tips

Hello again moneymakers! Here are some more tips today for getting offers to approve on GPT sites:

6) Clicking sites on the 'Final Steps': A lot of offers have a 'Final Steps' page or something of the sort, which will have links to various sites. The types of offers where you encounter these are ones where you must complete bronze, silver and gold offers to receive a prize. If you solely want the offer to credit, just click on a couple of sites at the end. Don't join up to whatever site you navigate to, just close it after you have seen it. Your GPT site should then be notified that the offer is complete.

7) Using the GMail 'dot' trick: You HAVE to check the fraud policy on your GPT site before doing this as this method can be abused and used fraudulently. Some GPT sites recommend it to get your offers credited whilst others are utterly against it. If you make a secondary email for offers, make a it a Google Mail address. With a GMail address, you are able to put up to two full stops anywhere in the main part of the address when filling in forms. For example:

fillyourpocketnow@googlemail.com (not a real email) can also be:
fillyour.pocketnow@googlemail.com or
fillyour.pocket.now@googlemail.com or any other combination. Dashes can also be used.

Now the reason for doing this is to do with your cookies. It is easier for the offers to be approved as it is though the email is unique each time it is used. Or so I hear. Do not abuse its use and check your site's T&C's.

8) Contact the GPT site admin: Only do this on offers that require you to pay something in order to get money back when they credit, for example bingo sites. If your offer doesn't approve after a few weeks then contact the admin to see what they could do.

9) Actually saying 'Yes' to sign ups: I bet I know what you do when you go through the steps of offers. You probably click 'No' to every thing that comes up during the offer so you don't have to sign up to anything else. If it's simply a case of clicking 'Yes' to sign up to something during the offer then do it at least once. This really helps your offer from getting denied!

Finding it hard for offers to approve for you when you do them? Look no further! Here's some quick tips to help you get those offers completed on GPT sites with ease!

1) Clear your cookies: After every offer it is recommended that you clear your Internet Browser cookies. If you are unsure how to do this then here are pictures on doing it with Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

It may be a little irritating having to log back into your GPT sites once you clear your cookies, but it is certainly worth it.

2) Allowing all cookies: Another good way to make sure you get credited is to allow all cookies. To do this simply go into the options of your internet browser.

3) Using Mozilla Firefox: Mozilla Firefox is a far superior internet browser compared to Internet Explorer, and rumour has it that Firefox is able to handle cookies better than IE. I'd highly recommend it for general internet use! Download it here.

4) Using 100% truthful information: This one should go without saying, but some people do not want to part with their information. Completing offers is perfectly safe so you shouldn't worry. The two details people usually falsify is either their age if they are below 18 or their phone number. If you are under 18, stop being fraudulent and stop doing offers! Also it is highly unlikely that any company will ever phone you, in fact some offers have you enter prize draws and they contact you if you win by phone. So the number you input had better be real!

5) Using a proper email address: If you put in a bunch of garbage as your email address, you will hardly ever be credited. However nobody wants spam emails, which are inevitable when signing up to certain offers. To solve this create a secondary email address for offers, however do not consider this a throwaway email address that you will never use after a week or so. This is considered fraud, as well as using temporary email services that create an address you use once or twice.

Peace and Love GPT Review

This review is going to be a little short today at risk of repeating myself. Now I've already mentioned DollarClickorSignup as being a great new GPT site. Now I'm here with an even lesser known site, Peace and Love GPT. Now if you go on the site it may look a little familiar. That's because it's run by the same person! And at the moment it seems to have more contests too!

From the time of this post it has a very small 324 members. But this site is probably better than all of the giants in GPT. Loads of contests, friendly people, offers, what more can you ask for?

I only have a couple of gripes regarding this site. As Peace and Love GPT have a psychadelic theme the site can be a little taxing on the eyes. It has been newly redesigned and looks quite a bit better than before, however it looks nothing compared to the professional designs of some sites. But why should pretty Web 2.0 looks matter anyway? My other gripe is that the PTC links do not reward as well as DollarClickorSignup. The links are usually only $0.001 per click as apposed to the $0.01 for DCOS.

In conclusion this is another fantastic lesser known GPT site and it really does deserve more attention than it is getting. SO JOIN HERE!

Easy ways to get referrals

We've covered GetRef previously as a great way to get referrals for your programs. Today we are showing easy ways you can refer people, online and offline.

Tell friends and family: Mention sites you have joined to friends and relatives, as they are likely to join for you. Friends should trust you and may just join to help their buddy out!

IM contacts: Use your instant messenger to get referrals! Using Windows Live Messenger put a referral link as your personal message, that way some people are bound to at least look at the site. You can individually let your contacts know about the program you wish to join too. Simply prepare a short message explaining the program and paste it to various people! You should be on hand to answer any queries people may have regarding the site.

Flyers / Business cards: This one requires a little more work. Print out flyers or order business cards and put them in various public areas. Make sure your referral link is on them or it'll be for nothing! A great site to take note of is VistaPrint. This site gives you 250 business cards for FREE! If you are a member of a GPT site VistaPrint could very well be an offer available for completion, so order the cards through there and get paid for it! I know for a fact DollarClickOrSignup have this offer available (UK members for sure, probably US too).

Forums: Do NOT spam links on forums. If you are a member of any forum, in your forum signature pop a referral link there with a little description. This is not spamming whatsoever, it'll just be there everytime you post! Joining forums that have an interest in the type of program you want referrals for is also good. Get involved within the community and more people will join your program.

How to check if a Get Paid To/Pay To Click site is legit

So you want to make some money! Are you interested in a particular site but are unsure whether it is legitimate or not? Trust me I've been there, but with some research you can feel a lot safer. Follow these tips so you know you aren't scammed!

1) A simple Google search - This is the easiest thing to do. Simply Google the site you're interested in with the word 'scam' after it. You'll quickly discover that people have asked whether the site is a scam or not. Follow links to discussion boards to see people's opinions of the site. You should soon have your answer.

2) Check GPT/PTC scam listings - There are sites that have long lists of scam GPT/PTC sites. Make sure your site isn't on them! Sites such as GPTBoycott specialise in sniffing out scams and update very often.

3) Check the quality of the site - So you have a site that says "You can make $25,000 in one day!" or something like that. Take a look at the site design itself. You may quickly discover something isn't right. When a site looks like it's been quickly thrown together in Microsoft Frontpage and it mentions how you can make so much money, why didn't some money go towards making a decent looking website? Make sure you check how professional the site looks before joining. But then again some of the best scams look completely professional. This isn't the best measure to take but it should help narrow down your decision.

4) Check for proof of payments - Check on various forums or sites for payment proofs. These are usually screenshots taken from a personal online bank account showing that people have indeed received money from the site. For example below in a previous post you can see my proof of payment for the site DollarClickorSignup, so that you know it is 100% legitimate.

5) Check for a forum - Most 'Get Paid To' and 'Pay To Click' sites will have a forum. Or at least the real ones will anyway. If there is no forum be weary and just think about it. If you get scammed by a site and they don't have a forum, you can't publicly complain on the site. With no forum you can't see proof of payments, discussions on offers, success stories and more importantly complaints from people not receiving payments! With no forum the site does not have to worry about people complaining, which may deter people from joining.

DollarClickorSignup is a recent site with just less than 3000 members. Does this make it any less of a site? Not buy a long shot. This is growing to be my favourite GPT site, and I will show you why!

First of all, let's talk about the site in general. It is very easy to navigate and there are a lot of offers available. I'm from the UK, and let me tell you this has the most UK offers of any other site I've been on. Some offers are worth $30 or more! The admin of the site is a very nice lady who will help you in any way possible. She is very actively involved with the site, offering trivia questions, jackpots and various competitions all of which you can win money! Also if you refer people, you get 100% of what they earn! The site has something new everyday of the week which is a great part of the site. Here's what happens each day:

Bux.to is one of the oldest 'Pay to Click' sites and has been paying out for years. I have heard many success stories from this site with people earning literally thousands of dollars! I have been using it myself and while it is basic compared to PTC sites of today, it is a great site that I would highly recommend.

As with most 'Pay to Click' sites, Bux.to gives you 1 cent for every ad you click. There are usually 15-20 ads each day for you to click. Doesn't sound like much right? But the real way to make the money with PTC sites are with referrals. If you get friends or families to sign up under you and click ads, you also receive exactly what they earn. So in theory:

- You click 10 ads per day = $0.10
- 20 referrals click 10 ads per day = $2.00
- Your daily earnings = $2.10
- Your weekly earnings = $14.70
» Your monthly earnings = $63.00

Simple! All that you do is give the link to whoever you think would be interested in joining. But that's not to say you can't just make the money yourself, albeit slowly. You can also purchase referrals, and you almost certainly end up with more than you spent in the end.

Payout is at a somewhat respectable $10, however regular members may be irritated with how long it takes to receive payment. You have to feel sympathetic towards the Bux.to staff, they get thousands of payment requests with it being such a popular site. You just have to be a little patient, it'll certainly be worth it!

After the famous SWATcash shut down last year I was wondering which site I should pick up to continue my money making online. The natural choice was of course TreasureTrooper, a site that has been running for multiple years. It's quite simply the best 'Get Paid To' site I know, even for those in the UK or Canada that can find it hard with other GPT sites.

TreasureTrooper's main money making is found in completing offers. An offer can be worth anywhere from 10p to £25, and most offers are free to complete. They include entering prize draws or taking quizzes, it's all relatively simple. With each completed offer you receive a gold coin which can be used on a slot machine or on the many forum games that take place.

Another aspect of this site which many sites similar fail to have are Cash Surveys. Each day you are able to take 3 surveys which are worth either 75 cents or $1. These are very easy to complete and are actually interesting to do! Some surveys give you sneak peaks at trailers for movies that haven't even been announced properly, or looks at a new brand of snack that is yet to hit the shelves. You simply give your opinions and get paid for them! With the surveys you can basically make $2.50 each day, which is very good indeed.

Another great part of the TreasureTrooper site is the community. There are regular games and competitions to be had, including forum treasure hunts where you can win $50! Everyone on the forum is happy to help anybody with questions.

Finally I will mention the $100 treasure hunt. $100? That's right. You find pieces of a treasure map and play a treasure hunting quest to win a great amount of money. It's certainly worth it in the end!

So all in all I have to say that TreasureTrooper is a fantastic site to be a part of. In conclusion - if there is one GPT site you should join. It's this one!
